My experience is that you can usually go another 2 teeth larger and it will work fine, but that is outside of shimano’s guidelines. Going 32t on a 6800 could be stretching it a bit but maybe others can confirm if will work. You would need a new cassette as they come 11-28, 11-30, 11-32.
