She can't tolerate an iron infusion and is allergic to iron pills and/or vitamins with iron. She eats foods that are high in iron, like liver, and drinks a little bit of red wine. WebAug 13, 2011 · Well, all I can say is you're not anemic, although you could do with some iron supplementation. Part of the problem may be B 12 deficiency. The curious part is the low iron and transferrin saturation with a normal hemoglobin. could thay signify another problem with what you just mentioned.
