Otherwise just use whatever your preferred method is. You shouldn't be having any trouble getting good mileage out of S30V in terms of edge retention. WebbIf you send it to Benchmade for a “sharpening” it’ll come back looking like they hit the edge with a 40 grit cutting wheel. So if you can sharpen it yourself, just do that. I have given them the benefit of the doubt on that at least too many times.
